Babette Misplon earned her Master of Laws degree from Ghent University in 2021. During her studies, she interned at the Human Rights League and participated in the Human Rights and Migration Law Clinic, where she further developed her strong interest in human rights and migration law. After graduating, she began her career as a project officer at a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting poverty. She then moved to Fedasil, where she worked as a socio-legal caseworker for the Reach Out team. She has been a member of the Antigone Advocaten team since September 2026.
