In 2009, Bobber Loos obtained his Master of Laws degree from KU Leuven. Subsequently, he pursued an Advanced Master's in Conflict and Development at Ghent University. In 2011, he completed a four-month internship with the UN refugee agency UNHCR in Georgia.

Since January 2012, he has been a lawyer specializing in migration and refugee law. In early 2017, he provided legal assistance at the Moria camp in Greece.

That same year, together with Kati Verstrepen, Benoit Dhondt, and Katrin Verhaegen, he co-founded Antigone Advocaten.
