Benoit Dhondt has been a migration and refugee law attorney at the Antwerp Bar since 2012. For several years, he was affiliated with Ghent University as a practical assistant for the Migration Law Clinic.
He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Immigration Law (Tijdschrift voor Vreemdelingenrecht) and serves on the board of directors of the Nansen non-profit organization.

In 2017, together with Kati Verstrepen, Bobber Loos, and Katrin Verhaegen, he founded Antigone Advocaten. He is active as an author and speaker.
